About

Creative strategy, from every angle

I’m Vanessa, and I’m focused on brand and creative strategy for fashion and lifestyle brands. I know the feeling of a brand getting it right. A product, collaboration, or piece of content can feel so specific that the audience recognizes itself in it. That connection is what drew me to this work.

As brands grow, maintaining that connection becomes increasingly difficult. I believe it starts with understanding consumer preferences and behaviors, then translating those insights into strategic decisions across the brand. There should be an invisible thread connecting the product, content, collaborations, and experiences back to the people the brand is built for.

My perspective comes from both sides of the process. At Kith, I experienced firsthand how a brand maintains a distinct identity while serving a passionate customer base. My business education taught me to connect cultural instinct with strategy and commercial goals. Along the way, I’ve learned to move quickly from insight to execution while staying attentive to the details that shape how people experience a brand.

The floor

My time at Kith taught me how brands connect with people in real life. I saw firsthand how customers respond to products, collaborations, and service, and how strongly the in-person experience shapes their perception of a brand.

The screen

Working with Tiffany Wendel taught me how to turn taste into content that performs. I plan, shoot, and edit across platforms, using creative judgment and performance data to grow an audience and drive measurable results.

The classroom

Studying business, fashion, and media, including time in Paris, gave me business instincts with a creative lens.

What's next

I’m building toward brand and creative roles where I can help fashion and lifestyle brands make culturally informed decisions, create stronger work, and build deeper relationships with their audiences.
